1st movement 3k 01:16 An extremely brief but complex piece. This short movement forms the basis of every single motif used in the next movement.

2nd movement 25k 11:18 There isn't a single note in this movement that isn't derived from a motif in the first. The themes don't develop as such, only change key, or form simple inversion or retrograde tricks. Some themes are combined or truncated. I wanted to see how much I could do with this limited material without introducing anything new.
