NOTE ON PLAYING MIDI FILES: All my MIDI works are meant to be played using the standard Microsoft GS Wavetable. Usage of any other wavetable will give unintended results. By all means experiment if you have the capability, but please be aware that what you end up with will not be what I intended!
Also, some MIDI files played on Winamp before version 5.3 (and it appears, after 5.541) will not play correctly. If you use Winamp, please up/downgrade to a version between 5.3 and 5.541 (incl), or alternatively, download this version or go here where you can download ANY version of Winamp.

| Original recording | Trawling through my archive tapes recently (2004), I came across this little gem - played on my friend's piano way back in 1978, and interrupted by him just when I was getting into a nice flow of inspiration (you can hear him commenting at the end before playing a completely different tune on a guitar at the end!) There's a lot of messing about at the start, then I settle down and improvise a nice little tune which then got completely forgotten for 25 years... (Available on the album Elwood's Piano Works which can be downloaded from this page.) | |

This is the finished off and cleaned-up MIDI version, made in 2004. Watch for for the deliberate "wrong notes" towards the end - they don't sound wrong when you've heard it a few times though, trust me! |
