A SUBURBAN AURAL TAPESTRY - Reviews (Compiled from LYRIQ - Mensa Poetry Magazine)

A Suburban Aural Tapestry: what a nice title! A poem that makes its wry point with patience and humour. Some pleasant lines - "Strike all your modern mechanisms dumb", e.g., and a suitable, sedate form. As always, I'd have appreciated it even more if it had been said in fewer lines. (A. Claybourne)

This rings a bell with me. (A. Brett)

A good descriptive poem which so aptly conjures a scene of suburban cacophany probably all too familiar to many of us. The poem itself had a steady meter throughout and the use of some unusual rhymes worked well... and yes, I can well believe it to be all true! (T. Wren)

Elwood is on top form here... (E. Dent)
