SOLARIA - Reviews (Compiled from LYRIQ issue 71- Mensa Poetry Magazine)

Good ballad effect, some lovely wordplay. But too long! Unlike you, Elwood, I think poems are most often improved by pruning.   (A. Claybourne)

Third: "Solaria" by Elwood Herring. Although a long poem, I stuck to it and really enjoyed it. My favourite from the Theme section and the only one to consider the END of this coming millennium. Very inventive and including a tour of the galaxy, especially the constellation Orion. I imagine Elwood, like myself, is an amateur astronomer.   (B. Bovington)

"Solaria" by Elwood Herring. How does he do it? Another minor epic. Keep them coming!   (E. Dent)
