Mins Electronic Symphony "Charon's Lament" op.24 (1984)
59:45 My last big piece of the 80's - recently re-edited and remastered. Intensely alien and macabre. Read Stanley Weinbaum's poem to get the gist. (I discovered this poem after I had finished the piece, but it sums it up perfectly.) In four bleak movements.

The whole symphony is available free as an Albumwrapped mp3 on MegaUpload.

  Mins Descriptions of individual movements
Seasonless Centuries 22:36 Bleak electronic landscape conjured up on the Stratus and Roland synths. This is perhaps the harshest music I've ever made, so you've been warned!
The Styx 07:10 Abandon hope all ye who enter here...
Around the Black Hole 17:50 A terrifying excursion into the unknown.
Charon's Lament 12:05 An utterly alien conclusion. Watch out for the ultra-low frequencies at the end.
