COMET TORN APART BY JUPITER
The comet designated ("Shoemaker-Levy" - the Martian/Jovian names are untranslateable. E. Herring) has been torn into several fragments following its close encounter with Jupiter, as predicted by Martian astronomers.
Martian astronomers have been following this event closely, and have calculated the comet's trajectory another (Martian) year in advance. We are now completely certain that it will eventually collide into Jupiter on 11994.0716. Jovian authorites have been given advance warning and are already starting to evacuate the Southern Hemisphere where the greatest damage will be sustained.
