COMET ON COLLISION COURSE WITH JUPITER
Martian astronomers have spotted a large comet which has a 99% probability of colliding with Jupiter within 2 (Martian) years.
The data on the comet has been sent to Mercury for verification, and the Jovian authorities have been duly informed, as they are incapable of making astronomical observations of their own.
The comet also has a 75% chance of being pulled apart by Jupiter's gravitational pull by the time of its first Jovian encounter one (Martian) year from now, but the final collision will still take place around Martian date 11994.07. Jovian officials have expressed their thanks for the information we have been able to provide, and are planning emergency migration procedures to minimise the loss of life on their planet.
