EARTH CRAFT DESTROYED ON ROUTE TO MARS

A spacecraft constructed by Earth inhabitants has been destroyed by Martian security guards while still only 60 million miles into its journey.

The decision was taken to destroy the craft rather than let it continue and risk our civilisation being exposed to the curious Human Race of Earth. "We are not yet ready to allow any kind of exploration of our planet by these comparitively primitive species just yet" said a military spokeman. "We need to wait until our planned conference with the Sirians later this year before we decide how to deal peacefully with these intrusions from Earth."
