SECOND ARTIFICIAL SATELLITE SEEN IN EARTH ORBIT
Another human-made craft was seen orbiting Earth today, barely a month after the first one was seen by Martian astronomers.
The first one is no longer in orbit as it fell back harmlessly to Earth just a few days ago. (Harmless to us Martians, that is. Presumably it burned up in Earth's thick atmosphere and caused no damage to the inhabitants below either.)
Martian scientists were able to ascertain that the craft contains a life-form roughly twice the size of an average Martian, but were unable to specify what it is. We already know however that Humans are on average up to six times the size of a fully grown Martian, so the conclusion was that it is some kind of lower animal. Whatever it is, it cannot possibly survive the harsh re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere and may be destined to a rather unpleasant death, if it is not already dead.
This situation gave some of our officials cause for concern, but unless there is a direct threat to our own world we have no business in interfering with the exploits of Earth's inhabitants. However, we will monitor the situation closely and learn whatever we can from it. One outcome of these latest developments means that we must now accept that Earth is rapidly advancing into a level 3 civilisation, with all the implications that are implied in that promotion.
